Why Photograph a Lifestyle Family Photography Session in the Client’s Home?
There are many benefits to photographing a lifestyle family photography session inside of the client’s home.
This paticular family had just completed full renovations on their home. They were also in the midst of selling their home in South Tampa, packing and relocating their family back to their hometown of Connecticut. They really wanted to capture this last family session at home, here in Tampa.
Here are a few reasons to photograph a family in their home:
No Commute. No need to pack a bag or purse, or load the car, or strap the kids in car seats. No driving is necessary for the client when the shoot is done in their home.
Memories. Photographing in and around a client’s home will create a nostolgic feeling, especially as the years go by and they will have tangible memories of the time spent in that home. It’s also nice to see what the home looked like during that time.
Comfort. There’s definitely no location as comfortable as one’s home. The kids will especially feel at home and be more willing to participate in the photo shoot in the comfort of their own home.
Play. The family and kids can feel free to play and enjoy their space, while the photographer captures these natural moments
Activities. Some families enjoy setting up family activites that they do often, to capture together (i.e. playing a game, baking together, etc.)
